an invitation
Being’s call to itself
The Call of Being is a fundamental pull within our experience that draws us to look beyond everyday concerns and recognize the constant and ever-present ground of our being. It is an invitation to listen deeply, inquire, and respond to the call of Being to itself.

the nature of the inquiry
An inquiry into your own Being
The Call of Being is a structured inquiry into your immediate experience, guided by reflection statements developed through years of research and dialogue. It offers no teachings, advice, or prescribed answers. Instead, it invites you to look closely at your own experience and discover what you already know, perhaps without having found words for it.
The heart of the inquiry
One sequence of reflection statements
The inquiry unfolds through fifteen reflection statements, each inviting you to discover something new about your Experience of Being. You respond to them in your own words, at your own pace, true to your own experience.

How the luminai-guided inquiry works
Begin, continue, deepen
In the Luminai-guided inquiry, each reflection statement opens a different perspective on your experience. As you move through the sequence, earlier discoveries may deepen, change, or take on new meaning. You can begin with a single statement and decide for yourself whether to continue.
Begin
Start with Reflection Statement 1, free. Look at your own experience directly, before concepts arrive.
Continue
Move through the core sequence (Statements 2–7). Luminai reflects your words back and introduces relevant voices from the archive.
Deepen
Continue through the full sequence (up to Statement 15), building a personal record of what surfaced along the way.
A finite inquiry, not a subscription — no ongoing obligation, nothing to cancel.
You’re not inquiring alone
Voices from the archive
As you explore your experience, Luminai introduces the voices of people from different cultures, traditions and walks of life who have reflected on the same statements. Their words — and the spaces between them — evoke and open possibilities.

Meet your guide
Luminai reflects and curates. It does not declare.
Luminai is an AI companion to your inquiry. It listens to your reflections, asks questions that may help you explore further, and introduces relevant voices from the interview archive. It does not interpret your experience for you or tell you what it means. The authority remains with you.
Luminai is an AI reflector. It is not a spiritual master, psychotherapist, medical professional or crisis service. You are always told you are interacting with a machine.

Going personal
Explore your experience together with me.
Sometimes an inquiry comes alive in the presence of another person. In a Personal Inquiry Interview, we explore your experience together through an open, attentive, interview-like conversation. I bring questions, curiosity, and years of experience in such inquiry, but no answers about what you should discover.
The Personal Inquiry Interview offers another way to respond to the Call of Being. Where Luminai invites reflection on your own schedule, the interview is a direct human meeting and live dialogue with me.

In participants’ words
What the inquiry felt like

“The moment our interview began, a sense of sacredness filled the space. Just being present in that space allowed me to look back on my journey through different lenses. It was such a rare, grounding experience.”
Nanami Nishiyama · unsolicited message after personal inquiry interview

“Thank you for such a beautiful time together. Your questions brought me so many precious insights… It would be fascinating to see what kind of shifts might happen if an interview like yours were conducted with the leaders of the innovation projects I’m currently driving.”
Takahiko Nomura · unsolicited message after personal inquiry interview

“As I answered your questions, I found myself listening to the words that naturally arose from within me. It was a meaningful experience to taste and reflect on those words and the place they came from. I truly enjoyed our time together.”
Chisa Masaki · unsolicited message after personal inquiry interview

“Thank you for the questions that brought me, gently but surely, to a place of real insight. It’s so natural in your company to feel like I know and am known.”

Care & safeguards
Where reflection ends, and support begins.
The Call of Being is an inquiry into experience and reflection — not therapy, diagnosis, or crisis care. Luminai recognizes crisis-related language and will interrupt the inquiry to point you toward human and emergency support in your region. Your reflections are encrypted, and marketing tools never receive their content. Any research use of your data is separate, optional and explicitly explained.
